THE VILLAGE HALL   Our village hall run by Emberton United Charity (EUC) since 1870 is situated conveniently in the centre or heart of the village, opposite the clock tower. We  have free WiFi throughout the building and we welcome local groups to use our space to provide education, recreation and entertainment that enriches our community. We have a small meeting room which can accommodate small groups of up to 12 for  seated discussions and we have a spacious main hall with ample capacity, tables and chairs to seat and cater comfortably for 80 adults. We have a well-equipped commercial kitchen with a dishwasher, china and cutlery appropriate for our capacity.  We offer a cost effective and friendly space appropriate for meetings, celebrations and parties suitable for all age groups. The Trustees of the “Sams Trust” decided last year that the 2016 distribution would be the last. This decision was widely supported by the recipients of the gift. The original purpose for the use of income from the fund was the provision of a village hall and support for “the needy” in the community. It has been decided to provide such support in a more focused and effective way. Therefore funds previously used at Christmas will be made available for any resident of the Parish, considered to be in real need, on application to the Trustees. Such applications will be completely confidential and the granting of such support will be at the discretion of the Trustees only.  Funds are now available and any request for support should be sent, in the first instance by letter, to the secretary, Mr Andrew Harris, 16 Gravel Walk, Emberton, MK46 5JA
